Description

Performance brake pads are fantastic, giving the advanced driver more stopping bite on city streets and the chance to sneak onto the track occasionally. They come with one major drawback, though: dust. That is, until Hawk changed performance brakes.

Hawk Ceramic Brake Pads carry the tradition of stopping strength you expect from Hawk, yet leave the extra dust, well, in the dust. Thanks to these specially engineered Hawk Ceramic Brake Pads, performance drivers with sweet wheels have an alternative that preserves shine.

Hawk Ceramic Brake Pads are also rotor-friendly and low-noise, reducing friction and vibration like a Hawk pad should. They fit fast in place of stock pads, and Hawk Ceramic Brake Pads come burnished and ready to be bedded. What's even better, your Hawk Ceramic Brake Pads carry a Lifetime Warranty.

Why not stop your ride with the best of all worlds? For low dust, minimized noise and top performance, swoop down on Hawk Ceramic Brake Pads.

Notes

  • All Hawk Performance Brake Pads are burnished at the factory. However, for maximum performance, each Hawk Brake Pad should be bedded-in with your rotors (new or used). Bedding instructions are included with the pads.

"These pads were probably one of the smallest best investments I could of made while keeping my stock rotors on the car. As advertised, the sound and dust are less than O.E.M. Which is great while the bite is alot better, they are most efficient after being warmed up a bit. Once warmed up, anything is avoidable after being able to stop in 2 seconds flat"

"I got 2 pairs (front+rear) to replace the stock brake pads, and things are all as expected: quite, no dust, much more stopping power, and the most important thing is that it does not over heat when continues braking. In short, one can feel the big difference. One thing to remind: some people complained about the noise, so, do not forget about the grease :)"

"Used this to replace a worn red stuff. It does make less brake dust. The braking feel is about the same as the red stuff. Both are huge improvement over stock brake pads. It's too early to tell how long the pads would last though."

"i freaking love these pads. price is just right. you can feel that these pads are going to last (i have drilled and slotted rotors). Rims are still shiny, but you can barely see traces of dust. my car is dropped and gives me the bite i need to stop before bumps in the road. Denver Colorado roads can get nasty as our weather."

"I put on the Hawk performance ceramics on at the same time I upgraded my rotors to DBA 4000XS. So I only know the performance change of the combination rotor/pad switch. It is amazing the car brakes so much better and the pedal feel is so much better. I have 2 Legacy GT wagons and this is my second set of Hawk performance ceramics w/ the DBA rotors the reason I did the second car is because when I drove the car with out the upgraded brakes I truly thought something was wrong with the brakes because the difference is that noticeable. Since my daughter drives one of the cars that is why I had to upgrade her car too. Great product"

"My previous pads (purchased at a local Big Name store) were kicking up way too much dust and squeaking all the time. I replaced the front pads within an hour and so far I have been pleased. No more squeaking and the wheels are much cleaner. Stopping power is excellent. I'll give the pads some time to seat with the rotors and I will probably end up getting a set of pads for the rear. Happy with my purchase. Thanks again, AA!!!"

"The Hawk Performance Brake Pads are replacing another brand of Ceramic Pads that did not live up to their claims as being "the best". I have used Ceramic Pads for many years and this is my first experience with "Hawk". The first set that I used was a "name brand" and lasted for over 80,000 miles on my Ford Ranger. I replaced with a national auto parts chain brand that lasted for less than 20,000 miles. I put a set on my new Ford Explorer Sport Track at the same time as the Ranger and they lasted 16,000 and were more than 75% gone. I read several reviews about Hawk and feel that they will do the job. They are really quiet and smooth."

"Paid extra for these pads because I of the low dust claim - NOT. They seem roughly on a par with semi metallics dust wise. The stopping power and feel of the pedal do seem better than semi-metallics, a little hard to tell since I changed the disks at the same time - brembo slotted. they are squealing a bit at low speeds, hope that's just a settling in problem."

"This car is known to be very hard on rear pads and rotors, so I have high expectations in this area. I did not have to replace my rotors at this time, and I only replaced the rears as the fronts were still good. I only have a few hundred miles on them thus far so I can't comment on long term wear however, they are not noisy and do not seem to dust excessively and the stopping power is at least as good as OEM pads. I am pleased with these pads and would definitely purchase Hawk Pads again when I need pads once again for this car or for another of my automobiles."
