Description

Performance brake pads are fantastic, giving the advanced driver more stopping bite on city streets and the chance to sneak onto the track occasionally. They come with one major drawback, though: dust. That is, until Hawk changed performance brakes.

Hawk Ceramic Brake Pads carry the tradition of stopping strength you expect from Hawk, yet leave the extra dust, well, in the dust. Thanks to these specially engineered Hawk Ceramic Brake Pads, performance drivers with sweet wheels have an alternative that preserves shine.

Hawk Ceramic Brake Pads are also rotor-friendly and low-noise, reducing friction and vibration like a Hawk pad should. They fit fast in place of stock pads, and Hawk Ceramic Brake Pads come burnished and ready to be bedded. What's even better, your Hawk Ceramic Brake Pads carry a Lifetime Warranty.

Why not stop your ride with the best of all worlds? For low dust, minimized noise and top performance, swoop down on Hawk Ceramic Brake Pads.

Notes

  • All Hawk Performance Brake Pads are burnished at the factory. However, for maximum performance, each Hawk Brake Pad should be bedded-in with your rotors (new or used). Bedding instructions are included with the pads.

I bought it instead of going to Infinity service center, where they charge for it $600......and I'm glad I did it. They works just as good as the original Brake Pads for Infinity. Highly recommend to buy it!

Pros: No brake dust No noise Conns: Takes longer to make a complete stop Very expensive for brake pads that are not very responsive I took my chances on purchasing these brake pads over EBC red stuff because the hawk ceramic brake pads have a lifetime warranty. Sadly, they did't fully meet my expectations. I do not recommend these brake pads. My old brake pads released a lot of brake dust that after washing my car, by the 3rd day my rims were already black. Although, they did brake better.

Shipped fast, and packed very well. Install was same as any brake pad. I had the rotors resurfaced so the new pads would have a good bite. So far little to no brake dust. They stop the vehicle very well. Really nothing else to say, my OE pads had some meat left at 52k miles of heavy use, hopefully these will last just as long or longer.

previously had trd pads which produced excessive dust and marginal results, hawk pads not even able to compare, extremely better in all catagories and very little dust.

I ordered these pads for my 2007 BMW 328i sport package. I decided to go with Hawk Performance pads because after much research, I felt they were the best bang for the buck and much better (and cheaper) than OEM pads from the BMW Dealership. They are definitely quieter and produce significantly less brake dust than OEM pads. I'll be ordering some more of these pads for my 740iL and my 325xi when the need arises.

I purchased Hawk's Ceramic Brake pads to replace the stock Brembo pads I had on my 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8. I wanted a pad that would not generate so much brake dust and I think I found it. The Hawk pads seem to perform very similar to the Brembo pads in normal street driving. They are smooth, silent, clean and you can hardly tell they are different from the Brembo's I haven't tried them at the track but they seem to be very capable on the street. They also cost about 1/3 of a Brembo pad. I am sure the Brembo pad is very good but so far, I like the Hawk's better. The Hawk Ceramic pad seems to do everything the Brembo pad can do without the brake dust. So far, I haven't found anything bad.

I placed the Hawk pads on the rear of my Volvo C30, I couple days after I felt the pads where sufficiently broken in, after bedding procedure and couple days of inclement conditions, the pads responded by keeping me out of a bad accident. the pads responded well, no fade, and plenty of bite. the pads response under such conditions was impeccable.

My stock pads were up for replacement and I decided to give Hawk a try based on what I read in many Corvette forums. The praise was true; they are grippy, easy to install, and VERY low dust --which was a huge improvement over stock. I don't race my convertible but it is my daily driver and I'm very pleased. Furthermore, the stock pads were very noisy (expected with the Z51 package). These Hawks don't make a peep and, with the top down, that's very important to me.
