  • EBC Sport Rotors deliver consistently more powerful braking than stock discs

  • Your EBC Sport Rotors arrive pre-balanced for smooth, wobble-free use
  • Anodized-zinc coating prevents corrosion: gold for imports, black for domestics

  • EBC covers your Sport Rotors with a 6-month/5,000 mile warranty

Description

Heat is the mortal enemy of your brake system. Every time you tap the pedal, friction sends the temperature of your discs sky-high. It's even worse during spirited driving, emergency halts, and stop-and-go traffic. Keeping your discs cool as cucumbers is essential for optimal braking performance, and that's exactly what your EBC Sport Rotors do.

The secret behind the EBC Sport Rotor's cooling powers is simple: wide-mouth slots. Like fans, these grooves draw air over the rotor's surface to chill the discs. Plus, dirt, grime and dust pass through these slots out to the rotor's edge. And, a cleaner rotor means you get even pad wear, extended durability, and better looks.

To block brake fade, your EBC Sport Brakes sport precision dimples. They breakdown brake gases for firm pedal response. What's more, the gold or black anodized-zinc coating fights off surface rust and adds Grand Prix-inspired style to your rotors. Backed by a 6-month/5,000 mile warranty.

"Overall pretty good so far. It's a daily driven street vehicle that is subject to the abuse of stop and go traffic of Philadelphia. Only time will tell the tale of how this combination will hold up. The last set of brakes made it 25k, cut stock rotors and Bendix pads, so if these last longer I suppose I'll have my answer on longevity. Most likely this combination is better suited to track time but I wanted brakes that can dissipate as much heat as possible. I like the price of the Greenstuff but I could have gotten cheaper solid rotors. They are still noisy after 1500+ miles but that is typical of slotted and dimpled rotors."

"Seem to be working well, I notice a very slight faint noise but I'm sure the Hawk pads will wear in and the noise will stop. My wheels have been much cleaner since, I haven't noticed any brake dust at all."

"w/ Avalon 2007: Pros: Based on the weight, it is equivalent to manufacture rotors. Thick, firm, well-made, well-packed. Cons: Dimples are useless because they wont help burning gas to escape. Also, slots and dimples reduce the contact between pads and rotors. therefore, the performance is less, the girl-attractive appearance is more. Black color under extreme heat condition changes to silver-ish. EBC required EBC rotors with EBC grreen pads which makes more noise. When I switched with ProAct pads, the noise went away silently. Good luck. Suggest: buy EBC gold rotors from other websites. The price is not much different. Autoanything is sucked. They wont allow customers to select colors."

"I replaced the factory pads and rotors with the EBC Sport Rotors and Green Stuff pads and it a difference in day an night. The factory rotors had become warped and the dealer said there was no recall on them even though everybody has trouble with them, so I decided I didn't want any more OEM rotors on the Jeep. I can't believe how the new brakes and rotors grip and stop, and with no pulsing at all."

Smooth braking, Better than when new! 2003 Honda Pilot, 65k

"When the Pilot was new, I always felt it braked rough. It was taken to the dealer when new and I was told that it was just like all Pilots and that's what you get with a pilot. So, I thought maybe they would smooth out with a little more time and a couple hundred miles. It never really happened though. Not long ago, I wanted to replace the brakes but with something better than stock, so I chose the EBC Rotors and EBC Pads. With these new EBC Sport Rotors and new EBC 7000 series pads (Green heavy duty ones.) Braking is so smooth!! Honda Pilot front rotors and pads are so easy to remove and replace and they look so nice after you finish too. I've just finished driving about 400 miles real easy on them so they should be set in pretty nice. Make sure you don't skip the high temperature grease on the outer face of the pads like the instructions say. I'm getting ready to do the back breaks soon."

"The EBC Spors Rotors mounted rather easily on vehicle with no problems. You can definitely tell the difference of these and factory in breaking distance. I have less than a 1000 miles on them and have not needed to realy apply them as of yet. You may want to keep focused in your rear view mirror when you get in to these brakes as things come up from your rear rather quickly when you apply your brakes."

"I have been reading about the "lack" of factory brakes, I thought yea right. Well, after installing these EBC brake rotors and "Green Stuff" pads, WOW! I had no idea how weak the factory brake set up was. I now feel that for the past 4 years I was driving an "unsafe" car, the stopping power and feel is a huge improvement! Thank You!!!!"

"Thought I had bent rotors on my 100K Tacoma Doublecab as I would get cowl shake and sterring wobble down long descents. The problem was actually due to the transfer of the aftermarket pad material onto the original rotors. Rather than resurface the originals I elected to replace them with compatible EBC rotors and green pads. Easy sneezy forty-five minute install solved that annoyance and seemingly improved braking."

"I had read reviews before ordering the EBC brake pads and rotors. With the exception of some initial noise after installation, most gave the rotors high marks. Well, my EBC rotors and brake pads went on easily and they were silent since the first day. Proper break-in is important and mine have great appearance, excellent grip, little brake dust and no noise, after nearly 800 miles on my 06 Equinox. Worth every penny. I highly recommend them."

"The only issue is they come gold but after 1/4 mile they have lost there shimmer and turner silver. Looks great silver but it seems a waste to start them gold in the first place. Obviously the front wear quicker which means it will take 20 to 30 miles before the rear rotors match the front in color."
