Description

Heat is the mortal enemy of your brake system. Every time you tap the pedal, friction sends the temperature of your discs sky-high. It's even worse during spirited driving, emergency halts, and stop-and-go traffic. Keeping your discs cool as cucumbers is essential for optimal braking performance, and that's exactly what your EBC Sport Rotors do.

The secret behind the EBC Sport Rotor's cooling powers is simple: wide-mouth slots. Like fans, these grooves draw air over the rotor's surface to chill the discs. Plus, dirt, grime and dust pass through these slots out to the rotor's edge. And, a cleaner rotor means you get even pad wear, extended durability, and better looks.

To block brake fade, your EBC Sport Brakes sport precision dimples. They breakdown brake gases for firm pedal response. What's more, the gold or black anodized-zinc coating fights off surface rust and adds Grand Prix-inspired style to your rotors. Backed by a 12-month/10,000 mile warranty.

These rotors are a good upgrade to any vehicle. My only complaint was that they need to be resurfaced prior to installing them on the vehicle. I'm a master auto technician, so it wasn't a big deal for me to resurface the rotors, but if you're the average do it yourself person, this will be an added expense to an already pricey product.

I recommended these for an install on a friend's friend's older model Acura TL. He had a low budget and was thinking of putting cheap brakes from the local brick and mortar auto parts stores. I seriously objected to this suggestion but understood his budget limits. Fortunately though, these Ultimax rotors (and pads) were just under his limit and after having installed Green Stuff, I figured it would be better than the cheaper rotors. Once installed, he was back to loving his Acura TL and keeps raving about his NEW brakes. This is his 3rd time replacing the front brakes (high mileage car) and he feels it's the best feeling brakes ever since new. I think EBC has a real winner with these brakes for a budget to mid-price brake replacement. I will definitely recommend these to the next person looking to save money on brakes and still get decent performance!

I have almost 1000 miles on my new EBC Sport rotors and Green Stuff pads, and the increase in stopping power has been amazing. Before it took significant pedal pressure to slow my Jeep, but now it take only a light press and it slows right down. The hardest part of the install was confirming the rotor runout was in spec, but I am glad that I did it cause my Jeep has 37 inch tall tires and the better the set up, the smoother and more reliable the stop.

I installed these along with EBC Green Supreme Brake Pads on my 2005 Silverado 4x4 RC/SB. I had 79,000 on the original brakes and had to replace them because the pad was separating from the back plate. After installing the EBC brakes the improvement in both pedal feel and stopping power was immediate. Even though I'm still on the break in cycle it's a drastic improvement. They are a little pricey but well worth the money in my eyes. I fully plan on purchasing the same brakes for my wife's '07 TrailBlazer when it needs them.

After research and reading 100's of reviews, I purchased the EBC rotors and red pads for my 2008 350Z. Boy do they make a difference from the OEM -- quick stops, no dust, quite, and great looking ! Easy install in about an hour.

I purchased front and rear EBC sport rotors (3GD). I chose them based on where they are manufactured, the zinc coating, and the nice upgrade they would provide over stock rotors. I coupled them with EBC Red Stuff pads for a very nice upgrade.
