Description

Let's face it: most brake pads squeal like a stuck pig. And, there's nothing more annoying (or embarrassing) than hearing that ear-piercing shriek, especially in stop-and-go traffic. For whisper-quiet brakes that still deliver an aggressive grip, get your hands on a set of EBC Ultimax Brake Pads. These direct replacement pads fit like stock, but they're miles ahead of any factory brakes.

Keen engineering is what makes your EBC Ultimax Brake Pads so silent. Their beveled edges and factory-fitted shims turn down the volume on you brake pedal. Plus, the chamfered rim fights off edge lifting to block against corrosion and pad-separation.

Even better, your EBC Ultimax Brake Pads' special blend of synthetic and metallic fibers gives you smooth braking, a firm bite, and extended life. There's even a unique Break-In surface coating for near instant bedding, and the center-line slot stops heat cracks. EBC also covers your Ultimax Brake Pads with a 6-month/5,000 mile warranty.

"My mechanic told me the break pads I bought was too thick that he had to re-surface my rotors to fit the pads. I don't sense the dramatic improvement on the breaking yet so it is hard to tell if this product is good or bad."

"I bought the pad set because of the reviews and price. Very fast free delivery. Installation is very easy because it is a direct fit. Drive about 200miles, so far so good, feel better than the stock one. Cannot beat the price with this quality. More brake dust than I expected and hope it will get better after breaking in."

"Received the pads quickley last week and they looked well made. Had a coating for breakin but honestly don't know if it is needed or does anything as I have never had a problem with other pads without it. They work well so far but will need time to monitor wear. My stock OEM pads got 40k miles before giving up the ghost. Still on my original rotors, they look fine. Can't beat the price for a quality pad."

"I bought a set for the rear of my car and cant believe the difference over the stock set. I only wish I had ordered a set for the front before I had a premium set installed instead. Plus the look of these is such an improvement, even over the premiums. The install location couldn't believe how much I had paid for them, as they could not beat that price with the same level of quality. If I had ordered the same set for the front of my vehicle, I would have easily saved $125 dollars."
