Let's face it: most brake pads squeal like a stuck pig. And, there's nothing more annoying (or embarrassing) than hearing that ear-piercing shriek, especially in stop-and-go traffic. For whisper-quiet brakes that still deliver an aggressive grip, get your hands on a set of EBC Ultimax Brake Pads. These direct replacement pads fit like stock, but they're miles ahead of any factory brakes.
Keen engineering is what makes your EBC Ultimax Brake Pads so silent. Their beveled edges and factory-fitted shims turn down the volume on you brake pedal. Plus, the chamfered rim fights off edge lifting to block against corrosion and pad-separation.
Even better, your EBC Ultimax Brake Pads' special blend of synthetic and metallic fibers gives you smooth braking, a firm bite, and extended life. There's even a unique Break-In surface coating for near instant bedding, and the center-line slot stops heat cracks. EBC also covers your Ultimax Brake Pads with a 6-month/5,000-mile warranty.

I recently installed EBC pads all around on my car, a daily driver. They perform well in all normal braking conditions & are a very good value. The only negative is the amount of brake dust they generate.

The Ultimax pads have a very good fit, not loose like some aftermarket pads. A full 4-wheel set with new rotors also cured the grabby oversensitive brakes that plagued low speed to stop from new.

My brother and I took the wheels off his truck to fix a broken brake line and discovered the pads were almost down to the rivets. The rotors were in poor shape as well and I decided to get him an early xmas gift and buy new pads and rotors. The pads give the appearance of quality and the feel is confidence inspiring. After a few hundred miles, you can feel the difference between EBC and the cheap stuff.

They are the nosiest brake pads I have ever bought. I figured they need to break in. After a week they still were noisy and squealed. So I bought Posiquiet ceramic pads and they work great and no noise from day one. Plus they come with new rubber boots and clips. They are also half the cost.
