    Description

When you’re tearin’ up the streets in your high-powered auto, you need speedy brakes to avoid costly accidents. Arm your calipers with EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads for hair-trigger pedal response. These pads don’t wait around to sink their teeth into your rotors—they bite hard and hold fast for sure stops.

As soon as your foot touches the pedal, your EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads get to work. They’re specially designed to deliver serious grip from the moment they hit your rotors. Plus, they stay strong until you come to a halt or hit the gas.

Your EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads are as quiet as a mouse. Their beveled edges, shims and center-line slot muffle screeches, squeaks and whine. Not just quieter, these performance pads also make very little dust—about 30% less than stock pads.

Bedding is near instantaneous with your EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads. A unique Break-In surface coating makes your pads work strong right out the box. Covered by a 6-month/5,000-mile warranty.

Our 350+ EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads customer reviews have an average rating of 4.50 out of 5 stars. To see specific reviews about your vehicle, please select your year, make and model from the drop down above.

I didn't have any break-in squeal as some have reported. I did notice for the first 100 miles or so the brakes were a little soft and then they seemed to grab better than ever. I installed the pads together with EBC slotted rotors and think its a great combo. During the 'break-in' period the feel wasn't much different than stock but once they settled in the performance was an obvious improvement over stock.

Highly recommend these pads. Been using green stuff on various VW's for many years and always had good results. Fit and finish was good, install was easy, and the performance is great. I am happy and will continue to use this product.

Definitely much better stopping power than the ceramic pads this replaces. The coating seats the pads quickly and the brakes modulate well. We'll see how long these last.

Only had the front done because my mechanic said the back brakes were new. These pads seems pretty good, but I've only been about 100 miles with them so far. AutoAnything did a great job sending the right ones, and i got them really fast with free shipping. thanks alot! I like quality over quantity so we'll see if the extra cash i spent was worth it after 1000+ miles

I tried them on 2010 Prius, lots of noise. Then I tried them on a 2008 C300 Benz, the noise was even worse. So green stuff is not good stuff. One thing I learned, stick to original pads...u can't go wrong...

So far the green stuff brake pads are working better then the stock pads. Had minor squeaking for about two hundred miles. Now that brakes have seated I have no noise. Great product for the price.

Great pads for a great price! Awesome grab right from install (installed on stoptech slotted rotors). Still have some very loud squealing (only at 250 miles into the install) but suppose to go away after 500 miles. Very happy!

    Front brakes only

I know it is best to change both front and rear pads at the same time, but is there a problrm with changing the front pads only?

Hello. You're right, it's best to change both the front and back at the same time, but it's not a hard and fast rule. For some vehicles, pads on the front or back wear down at different rates. It is a good idea to keep track of how your pads are wearing, so even if you replace one pair, you know not to let the other ones wear down.

    Ceramic or Semi-Metalic Brake pads?

I am looking for some brake pads for my 06 accord Ex and I came across these two brands: EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads, StopTech Street Performance Brake Pads. I was wondering what type of material there made of I couldn’t find it, are they Ceramic or Semi-metallic?

    Answers (1)

    Staff Answer

    Answered by Elizabeth C. — Jun 07, 2012 12:37 PM

Hello, EBC Green Stuff is a deliberately softer compound to improve pedal feel on lighter cars at lower speeds. This resulted in a medium dust material with good lifetime and minimal rotor wear. StopTech Street Performance pads are made from Para-aramid composites. Thank you for your question.

You should ALWAYS replace both the rotor discs and the break pads when replacing breaks. It is not absolutely necessary, but you should.
