Description

The streets are made for more than just commuting. All that pavement laid out in front of your hood is an open invitation to red-line your speedy auto. Staying in complete control of your high-octane ride is essential in this environment, and that’s why you need EBC’s Red Stuff Brake Pads. The ceramic blend in these performance pads is made special for muscle cars, swift European autos, and other mean street machines. In fact, they’ve been shown to stop sports cars up to 42 feet ahead of OEM pads!

Your EBC Red Stuff Brake Pads bite hard, but they don’t leave behind nasty dust residue like other high-performance parts—50% less dust, in fact. And, you won’t hear them screaming bloody murder when you hit the brakes. Their beveled edges, center-line slot, and ceramic mixture keeps the noise down to a minimum.

There’s nothing tricky about installing your EBC Red Stuff Brake Pads. They’re custom made for a direct replacement of your factory pads. They even come with a 6-month/5,000 mile warranty.

"So far these pads are better than the OE pads and much better than another brand that I tried and trashed due to a brake vibration problem that developed. One of the desirable features of EBC is the bedding-in coating applied to the face of the pads. It removed the film that the other pads put on the rotors and eliminated the vibration. Be advised that it takes about 500+ miles for the pads to bed-in. During that time you will see a lot of dust (that bad film coming off the rotors). Once the bed-in coating is gone the braking action is smooth, quiet and more consistent than the original semi-metallics."

"I have about 500 miles on the pads. They do not mke any noise at all. There seems to be some brake dusting but it could be from the break in period. Over all very satisfied"

"Well, I only have about 200 miles on the pads. I've done the 40 mph - stop bedding twice and the 60 mph - 20 once, They still squeel a bit at 5 mph to stop. I'll give it another couple of hundred miles, then bed them again. I have to say, the abrasive layer has made the Brembo slotted discs look like mirrors! And, I don't see much additional dust on the wheels. I'm looking to the squeel-free ride promised in the accompanying literature..... they suggest it might take 1000 miles of wear. We'll see."

"I got EBC Redstuff pads for my Elantra, wish the rear pads were slightly taller. Because they are slighly shorter than stock, even with the brake pad retaining clips in place they rattle around up and down a little when going over small but abrupt bumps. Other than the fit I am happy with the pads. There is some dust but that doesn't bother me. The friction is noticeably much better than stock pads."

"EBC red stuff brakes stop great. They stop better than OEM. My one problem is more brake dust than OEM. I guess I can handle the extra dust with the extra stopping power."
