Description

Don’t be fooled by their color—your EBC Yellow Stuff Brake Pads are anything but cowardly. They chomp down on your rotors with the highest rated friction of any EBC brake pad. These vise-grip-grade pads are carefully engineered to give you the stopping power you need at the track. They’re ideal for dragsters, oval runners, and high-performance street demons alike.

Unlike most racing pads, your EBC Yellow Stuff Brake Pads have a strong bite even in cold conditions. You won’t need to run a couple of laps before you feel the full fury of these brake pads. Plus, they don’t make an excessive amount of unsightly dust.

Brakes should be felt, not heard. That’s why your EBC Yellow Stuff Brake Pads sport beveled edges and a center-line slot—they turn down the volume on your brakes. And, the ceramic blend fights off squeal, too.

As direct replacements, your EBC Yellow Stuff Brake Pads are easy to install. They even come with a 12 month/10,000 mile warranty

Notes

  • It's always best to use the same compound in the front and rear, but if budget restraints prevent that, use this guide:
    • When using Yellow Stuff Brake Pads on the front and replacing the rear, it is recommended to use either a set of Yellow Stuff, Green Stuff, Red Stuff, Ultimax or original brake pads for the rear.
    • When using Yellow Stuff Brake Pads on the rear and replacing the front, it is recommended to use Yellow Stuff Brake Pads for the front.

I suppose it is early days yet, I will have to see if the situation improves. I purchased these and paired them up with new Baer Decelera Rotors. So far, having completed the bedding in process as instructed, I am experiencing loud squeling when I apply soft pressure. In hard braking conditions I would rate these as excelent but I am dissapointed at the squeeling. Maybe it will improve. There is another thing that pisses me off, the anti-squeel pad they get you to stick to the viewed side of the brake pad is black and it detracts from the color of the pad.

I installed these pads on my '05 Suburban which already had Brembo rotors. The combination of the pads and rotors is amazing. I've only had them on for a couple days so they haven't been bedded in yet, but already I noticed a tremendous improvement in braking ability. It requires much less pedal pressure get the same results. I am very happy with these pads.

Made a huge difference in braking in my 2008 Dodge Ram. My wife complains about the squeaking, but it's all but gone away after a few hundred miles.

Reviewed by James B (San Jose, CA) 2000 Saturn L-Series — Dec 21, 2011 3:46 PM
Simply the best brake pad I could find for my humble daily drivers, Saturn LW1 wagon and Honda Accord EX. On the Saturn they are combined with slotted rotors. On the Honda they are combined with DBA 4000XS Series Rotors and on both cars high speed scrubbing has been dramatically improved. I am constantly cleaning my rims so for those that have dust reduction as a priority, I would not claim these to be low dust, however, since I want to stop securely and sooner than stock, this is the pad. The paint on my pads was shipped chipped to all ends, so no style points there. Since this is my second round on 2 cars with this pad, I can honestly say they are the best brake pads purchase I have made. Brake fade is non-existent, and I am sure that on more than one occasion they have been the difference in stopping instead of becoming a meatball. They stopped great till the very last millimeter, see photo!

As my truck has drilled and slotted rotors, the yellowstuff brake pad works perfect with them. I had the high performance TRD brake pads from Toyota before these which worked just as good. The only difference is that the TRD ones produced alot more brake dust where as these yellow stuff barely produce any at all. I stop on the dime anytime I want to with these.

I bought these for my Infiniti G35 Coupe and the brakes are simply stunning. The braking power is amazing and they have a great look to them. I got them installed and the change was incredible. With these pads, you will be thinking "STOP" and the car just might do it without you ever hitting the brakes. Great product.

Installed with new slotted roters all around . Break-in for 200 miles as directed . Then 5 to 6 rapid stops from 60 to 20 and cooled per directions . Next trip was a "very spirited" drive at the Dragons Tail and then 6 hours of Twisties in NC and Tenn Mountains W/ the THMMC Group . No noise , no fade , excellent braking ! I'll buy these again .
