"I needed brakes on my car and everytime that I go to the local parts store for rotors they seem to warp within a couple of weeks. I am hard on brakes so some warpage is expected over time, but not in 2 weeks. I just got back from a trip to the NASCAR race in Delaware where my trip brought me through New Jersey (if anyone has driven the northern part of the Garden State Parkway you know what I am talking about). After frequent hard stops, the rotors are doing fine. I also installed Hawk brake pads. They work very well. They have a lot more grip as noticed by less pressure needed on the brake pedal to stop. The ABS is a lot easier to make come on as well (I hate ABS). The pads have not squeeled as of this point, but seem louder than OE pads (light grinding noise). I am very happy with both and recomend them."

"The new Baer zink washed brake rotors stand out and grip. When combined with the Goodridge Stainless brake lines the brakes system responds like a race car. Very crisp and in control! All of this at a reasonable price. JCH"

trying to improve braking performance

"I purchased these rotors to try to have good brakeing at high speed. These rotors are very noisey and and under hard stops they also make a grinding sound.I have driven these rotors about seven to eight hundred miles.But ihave noticed that they are not yet completely seated yet.I first used Hawk Performance Ceramic.Iremoved the front ceramic pads because I noticed groveing.I then installed Hawk HPS pads on the front and the groving stopped.I do not know yet if they are any good.I will have to wait and see as i put more miles on them."

"First of all you can’t beat the price for these rotors. Easy to install and are a perfect fit. I am using these rotors with the OEM pads and will need to get them replaced with Hi performance pads soon. Love the whey it looks on the car."

"I was very impressed with the quality and looks of the Baer brakes. Stopping power has definitely been increased; however, they are only available for the front of my vehicle. I had to purchase EBC for the rear, which are of very good quality, but I would have liked to have had the same look all the way around."

"The previous two sets of front rotors warped after 2-3 mos. of use.During that time hard stops were carefully avoided but despite that, steering wheel shimmy gradually appeared when the brakes were applied. It was an annoyance that we just lived with because the car was an absolute delight in all other respects.Upon installing the Baer rotors I didn't waste any time and I repeatedly jumped on the brakes to the extent that the original rotors or their replacements would have been wobbling like the blazes.So far everything is just as smooth as the very first stop.I don't intend to purposely abuse the brakes any further and with the gentle braking technique that my wife and I have learned to use I'm hoping that the problem is solved for good."

better brakeing

"I have a 2006 f-150 king ranch with 20 in. wheels. This was the cheapest price I found the rotors. They got to the house faster than I thought,so shipping is great. I also got the brake pads too. They went on very easy, but the spindle nut needs to be replaced. The only place that has this part is the dealer $47 for both. That is the only down fall. I didn't notice a differance at first because the coating on the rotors. The more I drive the better they get. The reason i got new rotors was because my stock ones warped at 28000 mi. oem replacments coast about the same but come with the spindel nuts, so I picked the better brake. excellent product I will be buying the rear ones soon and maybe upgrade to braided brake line to help more."

Excellent rotors for my Tahoe
