The Baer Decela rotors that I bought for my Escalade are excellent. Before with my other rotors, my wheel actually would get hot. With these, the wheel is cold and the heat is dissipated. There are also nice looking. I got 2 comments in the first 3 days after putting them on from 2 car guys. I matched them up with hawk pads. Excellent smooth better braking than before. I am buying another set for my rears tomorrow. The best rotors I have ever bought! They are not cheap though!

Installation was pretty straight forward. I installed these with a new set of EBC 7000 series green stuff pads on my 2008 Gmc sierra 1500. I bought these rotors after my second set of OEM crappy rotors. After the break-in period for the green stuff pads (approximately 1,000 miles) the stopping power far exceeds the stock setup. I am very happy with these rotors and especially the EBC pads I got to go with them.

The rotors I have received are top of the line and increase the stopping power incredibly....move aside expensive brembo rotors because Baer has what you need for an affordable price

After recieving the rotors they looked fine had mechanic installed them both after they are on the abs dash light remained on .mechanic did a diagnostic test and was showing abad sensor on right side , so replaced sensor still light is on , after further testing. he found adefect on the sensor ring this means i. Have to order new rotor return old one. BUY A NEW SPINDLE NUT 25 dollars each. i think this could have been avoided if they had ahigher quality control system not good!!!

Wanted to upgrade Brakes and Rotors since we pull a boat often. The Baer Decela Rotors work great and were very easy to install. I replaced all four rotors, the hardest part of the job was removing the rear tires and rotors. On my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500, we had to take a BFH and a piece of wood to hit the back side of the rear rims to get them off. To remove the rotors we just hit the rotors directly with the BFH.

Paired these rotors with Hawk HPS pads, these rotors looks great with my 19" Volk Racing SF Winning Gold Finished wheels. Even looked good after a couple days of rain. Very quiet, no wind noise. Daily commute with stop and go traffic everyday.

Do these rotors rust, especially on the hat area ?
Answered by Nathan S. — Nov 29, 2012 7:40 AM
Hi, Most rotors are made of cast iron, so regardless of the brand, rusting is going to happen when they get wet or come into contact with road salt. The best ways to prevent rotor hats from rusting is to keep them dry, or apply ceramic paint to provide a barrier against moisture.

Baer does not produce Rotors for 2001 Audi S4 vehicles and yet you have one listed stating it will for a vehicle with single piston front calipers. Why is this when the vehicle only came with 2 piston front calipers.. Please let me know. ademan@optonline.net (914) 815-0720
