    Description

Ditch your unsightly, wobbly, rusty stock rotors and step up to the Decela Rotors by Baer Brakes. Expertly engineered to replace your OE discs, the Decela Rotors are designed using the same cutting-edge braking technology found on thoroughbred racecars. With Decela Rotors, you get astonishing halting power that doesn’t stop short on style.

The unmistakable slotting and cross-drilling on your Baer Decela Rotors packs a powerful punch. Besides giving your pedal a forceful grip, it improves wet weather response, eliminates the risk of outgassing and minimizes the risk of stress cracks. In fact, your Decela Rotors use the same counter rotational design found on race tracks from Laguna Seca down to the Daytona Speedway.

Along with performance gains, Baer’s Decela Rotors add an explosive, imposing image to your open-wheel rims. Installation is a breeze, and you don’t even have to bleed your brake lines. Best of all, Baer backs your Decela Rotors with a 3-year warranty.

These rotors are amazing! I recently upgraded to a 20x9 wheel with 33" tires on my Super Crew Lariat and the stock brakes weren't having any of it. Ordered the Baer Decela Rotors and some Hawk Ceramic pads for all four corners. I could tell a huge difference in stopping power immediately and these things aren't even broke in yet. I would highly recommend them !!

The Baer Decela rotors that I bought for my Escalade are excellent. Before with my other rotors, my wheel actually would get hot. With these, the wheel is cold and the heat is dissipated. There are also nice looking. I got 2 comments in the first 3 days after putting them on from 2 car guys. I matched them up with hawk pads. Excellent smooth better braking than before. I am buying another set for my rears tomorrow. The best rotors I have ever bought! They are not cheap though!

Installation was pretty straight forward. I installed these with a new set of EBC 7000 series green stuff pads on my 2008 Gmc sierra 1500. I bought these rotors after my second set of OEM crappy rotors. After the break-in period for the green stuff pads (approximately 1,000 miles) the stopping power far exceeds the stock setup. I am very happy with these rotors and especially the EBC pads I got to go with them.

Have to order new rotor return old one. BUY A NEW SPINDLE NUT 25 dollars each. i think this could have been avoided if they had ahigher quality control system not good!!!

    Rear rotors vented?

Are the rear Baer disc brake rotors that are slotted and cross-drilled also vented, or are they solid?

Hi, If your current rotor is solid, the replacement is solid too. Your rear brakes are only providing about 25% of your stopping power so having cross-drilled and slotted rear rotors will handle the worst you can throw at them on the street with ease.

    do rotor hats rust?

Do these rotors rust, especially on the hat area ?

    Answers (1)

    Staff Answer

    Answered by Nathan S. — Nov 29, 2012 7:40 AM

Hi, Most rotors are made of cast iron, so regardless of the brand, rusting is going to happen when they get wet or come into contact with road salt. The best ways to prevent rotor hats from rusting is to keep them dry, or apply ceramic paint to provide a barrier against moisture.

Baer does not produce Rotors for 2001 S4

Baer does not produce Rotors for 2001 Audi S4 vehicles and yet you have one listed stating it will for a vehicle with single piston front calipers. Why is this when the vehicle only came with 2 piston front calipers.. Please let me know. ademan@optonline.net (914) 815-0720
