I decided to write this review to highlight a good set of pads but mostly to show appreciation for the great customer service at AutoAnything. I bought stoptech pads for my car in June and did not get around to installing them until August. Turns out that I had the wrong pads and I was outside of the 30 day return window. AutoAnything did right by me and exchanged the pads even though they did not have to. This is why I continue to shop with them. As for the pads they are a great street pad.

I had a set of Stop Tech Street Performance Brake rotors and pads install on my vehicle today. I took the car our of the shop and was expecting to have a different feel than my original rotor and pads, but that was not the case. The grip and stopping power was not there. Very disappointed.

We race in 24 hour endurance races and these pads have a great heat range with little fade when hot. Our vehicles are a departure from the norm in that we run twin engines in our cars. Having an additional 800+ pounds in engine and suspension modifications rip right through stock and so called performance pads. We have yet to go through a complete set of pads during one endurance race. We have used these pads for the last two years and will continue to purchase them for all of our racing needs.

The pads perform well and are quiet on the street yet perform well during autocross and light track use. I've used these pads on my Miata for four track days at Mid-America Motorplex and they appear to still have a fair bit of pad material left.

I was expecting better stopping power with these given the reputation they have on the various forums. These were for my 2011 MINI Cooper S and I was disappointed in the performance after the break in. They are not as effective as the stock pads were.

Auto Anything ships the products so fast. This is my third time buying from them. I've benn very pleased with their products, prices, and service. These brakes are awesome! I put them on my wife's 2007 Saab 9-3 turbo. I've driven it a few hundred miles with great, smooth, stopping power. They make no noise, and I havent seen any brake dust. Great products and service.

Looking at these for my Audi. Vehicle has a brake wear sensor. Do these pads come with the sensor in fitment for my vehicle?
Answered by Nathan S. — Jan 14, 2013 10:05 AM
Hi, If the factory brake wear sensor is embedded in the pad friction material the new pads will include the sensor. If the sensor attaches to the pad back, the factory sensor must be reused or replaced.flag Accept Answer

I run track day every couple of month with my Roush stage 2 Mustang. The car only has about 7000 miles on it and my guestion is the rotors have very little wear and no grooves, is it necessary to put on new rotors or can I just change the pads front and rear. I approach speeds of 120 plus with fairly hard braking, will these pads work or do I need a more competitve pad.
