    Description

The world is full of bolt-on performance accessories that boost your horsepower to hair-raising levels. Unfortunately, modifying your braking system to keep up with all that newfound thrust used to be a complex affair best left to the pros. Not anymore. With a custom designed set of Russell Brake Lines, you easily swap your tired factory lines without tricky modifications.

Whether you’re cruising around town in a commuter or a high-performance track star, Russell Brake Lines dish up serious stopping strength. Unlike factory brake hoses, Russell Brake Lines are built from braided stainless steel with zinc-plated fittings. This sturdy construction prevents them from expanding, so they maintain the right amount of pressure for faster stops and firmer pedal feel.

Best of all, Russell Brake Lines are completely street legal in all 50 states. Because they meet DOT guidelines, you can run them anywhere without fear of the authorities cracking down. And, they’re backed by a 1-year warranty.

Our 10+ Russell Brake Lines customer reviews have an average rating of 4.50 out of 5 stars. To see specific reviews about your vehicle, please select your year, make and model from the drop down above.

    A Good Buy

Reviewed by Andrew O (PLAINFIELD, IL) Reviewed for a 2002 Ford Mustang — May 12, 2013 3:06 PM

The Russell Brake lines really improved the brake feel on my Mustang GT. The braided stainless steel lines are always a good upgrade when replacing old, deteriorating rubber hoses. Installation was pretty easy, but there was one minor issue: they came with aluminum sealing washers, that didn't seal, so be prepared to potentially buy copper sealing washers separate.

I have been in the market for replacement brake lines for quite some time. After much research I landed on the Russell brand. They look good and the installation was a breeze. I autocross this car and the factory lines were hard and somewhat brittle. I recommend this product.

These lines are a great improvement over the stock lines, the feel of my brake pedal is better. They are well made with nice solid connections and I expect them to last. If the OEM brake lines can last for many years, then I fully expect these to be around for quite a while.

Russel ss brake lines were high quality.Unlike many others on the market they have mounting brakets that bolt directly into the stock location. They fit perfect and gave the brakes a more responsive feel and firm pedal.I would recomend these to anyone in the market for ss brake lines.
