I've pushed this kit pretty hard for about 2,000 miles, and it's fantastic! I was afraid the slotted/cross-drilled rotors would look silly on my car, but I couldn't be more wrong. There is a noticeable difference in "bite" from the OEM pads/rotors, and they're definitely less prone to brake fade under heavy braking. This is a great buy for the daily driver and occasional track day enthusiast!

Although its been a while since I bought this kit, I want to say that I was very pleased with the quality of the components. After install on my 2006 Honda S2000, I like the initial feel of the brakes. I can here minimal contact noise. It'll be a couple more months until the pads will be broken in. I expect no issues. I am happy with my purchase.

Very nice upgrade from stock. Even though the stock brakes are very good on this car, this kit takes it up a notch. Excellent linear/progressive response. Easy day-to-day driving (wife style)that's not over aggressive, but a little more push really squeezes down hard for spirited driving (my style). Good choice for a sports sedan. SS brake lines could use better instructions.

I have driven my BMW 5 series now for 8 months with these magnificent items. Braking is a fantastic experience now and not one time only, but time after time. I will buy them again next time. Kenneth Chocolaad.

My 2002 Lexus IS300 is the second vehicle where I have chosen the StopTech brake kit as an upgrade when it came time for the OEM brakes to be serviced. As with my previous vehicle, I'm incredibly happy with this product, and this time, since StopTech has made available the drilled and slotted rotors, they are as great to look at as they are to use! Significantly enhanced stopping power in wet and dry conditions, under both daily driving and "hard" driving conditions, plus long life and flawless function is what brings me back to StopTech. Definitely a satisfied customer yet again!

Awesome brakes installed easily on my car. had to make a slight modification to the rear brake lines but nothing major. The car stops better then before and the new rotors look awesome behind my new rims and tires. Awesome kit if you dont mind keeping the stock calipers.

I was thinking of changing out entire brake system when it comes time to replace on my 2008 Mazda 3. I've seen two comments saying, "nice brakes if you don't mind using stock calipers" What does this comment mean and what calipers are available to be used?
Answered by Nathan S. — Jan 22, 2013 8:48 AM
Hi, What he means is, the brake pads work well with your stock calipers, but if you want to use your Mazda 3 as a weekend race car, invest in a set of StopTech calipers to apply even more force to the pads. Your stock calipers will handle 99% of street use with ease. Upgraded calipers are best on the track.

do the brake pads that come with part number #978.33026 include the break sensors. My car has brake pad wear sensors so i need the proper brake pads.

Hi, If you brake pad sensors are molded into the pad friction material, they will be included. If they clip on the pad, they will not.
