The biggest 'flaw' of most 'Sporty' cars is the brakes, not for 'normal driving', but 'spirited driving'! I did a lot of research, before purchasing the StopTech BBK. One of the biggest reasons that I finally chose this BBK, is that it is a 'Balanced' system, balanced with your OEM brake system (ABS, etc.) The BBK has lived up to its expectations, although I don't have very many miles on it. AutoAnything had a VERY good price on the kit, which has now gone up considerably.Used PosiQuiet Pads.

2006 Ford F-150
what besides the price is the difference between 1 and 2 piece rotors for the big brake kit for my 2006 f150?

Hi, Aside that one is 1-piece and the other is 2-piece, their performance is different. 2-piece rotors tend to be lighter, reducing unsprung weight, improving handling. They keep brake heat away from the wheel bearings. And 2-piece rotors expand in a more uniform manner, reducing the chances of warping.flag Accept Answer

I'm interested in the front and rear big brake kit from stoptech but for the rear kit it says delete parking brake, my car is daily driven so I must have the parking brake, can you provide with any solutions? Thanks

Hi, It looks like that kit is recommended for racing only, hence the lack of a parking brake. A better street option is the StopTech Sport Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors.flag Accept Answer

Are these both front and rear brakes?

Hi Brad, it depends on your vehicle. Some come with front only, some come with a 4-wheel set. For your GTI, it's only the fronts. Once you select your vehicle, the kit contents will appear.flag Accept Answer
