Hawk HPS Brake Pads Part #HB149F.505 Customer Reviews

Installed these on my 2000 Mazda Miata as part of a complete brake overhaul I did to the car. The old pads weren't even worn down that much, but I was looking for a little more stopping power than the OEM pads and these definitely did the job. Not sure how much of my new braking power is due to these and how much to the new rotors and stainless lines, but I'd definitely recommend these as a good performance everyday street pad.

I am on my second set of HPS pads. I do some street driving but mostly us the car for AutoX. I went from cheap brakes pads that cracked in the first 3 autoX sessions to these. These seem to fit a low budget with good performance. I purchased them from Autoanything and got the front and rear for about $20 more than GoMiata was charging for the front only. I have not experienced any brake fade with these at all (cant say that with the previous brand). It's nice to stop when you want to!!!
