Comparable with OEM Honda

I had 127,000 miles on the original brakes. I bought the HPS pads, PowerSlot Cryo Rotors, and PowerStop SS brake lines. To be honest with you, I didn't notice much of a difference. OEM brakes were silky smooth and quiet with no dust, but did not stop that well. These brakes are just a tad noisier, and almost as smooth. Also, I honestly haven't noticed the brake pedal feel "firming up" with the SS brake lines like many others have reported. I will update in about 3 to 6 months.

The Honda Element needs these brakes!

I drive the congested roads of New Jersey and these brake pads, coupled with the EBC rotors, provide smooth and sure braking. It is such a phenomenal difference over the stock brakes which always felt "mushy" in spirited driving. The pedal feedback is confidence inspiring as you can adjust your deceleration without feeling brake fade, which leads to "panic" braking in so many other situations. I also tow a boat trailer and these pads handle the extra load without a problem.

The best compromise between stopping power, noise, and brake dust.

I did not rate my HAWK pads only after 2 months of installing to see their reliability. But they are pretty good, as far no noise and they fast stopping as well, easy to replace.

This is my 2nd set of Hawk HPS pads. I bought the first in 2006 so I could do some NASA-sponsored track days at Summit Point Motorsports Park. These pads, and my stainless steel brake lines, worked beautifully with my 1993 Honda Prelude 4WS. Whether braking for the Summit Point Carousel or the Loop at the end of the straight, my Hawk pads performed wonderfully.

Easy to install. Use it to replace stock pad. The brake feel somewhat stronger than stock.
