Hawk HPS Brake Pads Part #HB385F.640 Customer Reviews
Reviewed by Pat A (Peoria, AZ) Reviewed for a 2003 Acura TL — Aug 06, 2013 2:26 PM
My Tahoe's pads finally wore out after 135K. I upgraded both rotors and pads.I have 22"s on the truck and always wanted a bit more stopping power due to the Tahoe being the family "everything" vehicle. Other than a little dust on the chrome, I am pleased with the performance and look (painted black). You know they're good when the wife even comments on how nice the truck stops! I'm ordering another set for my Acura soon. Installation was a breeze!

I have had them on the truck about two weeks now with no problems. I replaced the rotors and pads at the same time and the installation was fine no hangups with the install. The pads grip really well and don't squeek or leave any brake dust that I can tell yet. The one thing I noticed is the very second it comes to a complete stop I get a moan from them. It could be the new combination of rotors and pads and I am hoping that it is just break in. Otherwise performance from the pads has been great.
