Hawk HPS Brake Pads Part #HB484F.670 Customer Reviews

i installed front and rear hawk pads and new drilled/slotted rotors on my mustang... I have noticed that these are pretty bad first thing in the morning and when at lower speeds i feel like i have to apply more pedal than before. however, i feel like the car slows better from hi speeds, so a little give and take.

I took a chance on these pads after reading some reviews of them being noisy and dusty. Well I am happy that I went ahead on got them, they are quiet and I don't notice any dust either. That being said, it is not a daily driver and is cleaned often so maybe that is why I don't see the dust? I also installed slotted rotors from Roush and Power Stop calipers with the pads. Just make sure you follow the directions on how to install and seat the pads and you shouldn't have any problems with them.

You can feel the difference in braking. Hawk make the best pads bar none. This is a replacement set for my mustang. I really do not have to replace them but for me I would rather do early and have peace of mind. My current pads have over 80,000 miles on them and I expect this will be the last pads I will buy. I highly recommend Hawk pads for any car.

Well worth your to time to upgrade your stock brake pads to theses. Much better than the stock pads. Greatly improved stopping. So far I have no squeaking. Installation of all 4 took less than an hour.

Installed and only driven once so they aren't broken in yet. I did have one pad where both of the springs popped off due to the pin not being flattened enough to hold the coiled wire from popping off the pin. Auto everything coordinated my return with Hawk and got me a new set of pads as I had to drive my Mustang to my dealer for other scheduled work and had already put the pads on. Received the new set of pads and replace the one pad and returned that set back to Hawk with the prepaid label sent from Autoeverything and was given a prompt refund. Think I'll be satisfied with the Hawk pads and EBC rotors as soon as they are brken in. Also replaced the brake lines with the Russell braided SS kit (done by my local Ford dealer)so will be glad to leave more feedback in a couple of months if you send me a nother e-mail to remind me:) Service from Erika at Autoeverything was very good. Would shop there again.

I have used HPS pads on another car and also use their race pads on that car. The car stops as expected plus pads are relatively easy on the rotors--all around good value.

These brake-pads give better than OE stopping-power, but they give a bit more dusting. I will take the dusting to attain the better braking. It is not quite the lesser dusting in the ads by the manufacturer. It is more.
