Hawk LTS brake pads

The pads are very uniform and fit just like the OEM parts. They claim the front pads are .785 thick but that appears to be the combined total of the lining for each wheel. The price is somewhat higher than other lifetime pads that can be bought locally. The quality seems very good and I like the fact that they are made in the U.S.A.

Better than stock pads

This is my second set of Hawk LTS brake pads. My review from 4 years ago is still up there and I said I would buy again and I did. Its not that I needed them for my truck, I got a great deal and wanted to store them. For perspective, I have driven 40,000 miles since my last review with 10,000 of those miles towing a travel trailer (7,000 lbs). I measured the new pad and they have just over 1/2" of padding. The "old" ones on my truck currently measured 3/8" after 40,000 miles. I still have plenty of stopping power and the brake dust is still minimal. Looks like my current ones will last a while longer but when they're done, I have my new ones waiting and ready to go.

The hawk LTS brake pads installed easily and so far have shown to have very good stopping power. I bought them for my 04 F150 and they replaced the OEM pads. Since they have only been in for a week I will have to update later on the amount of brake dust they create. Overall I would recommend as a good upgrade over OEM and discount auto store pads.

Installed front lts pads with new rotors and they work so well. They have more grab right off the bat. And work very nice under heavy braking. Can tell such a difference from stock pads.

Hawk Brake Pads-Great value for the $

I use Hawk brake pads on all of my vehicles. 3PU's, 2 cars and 2 mc. Best stopping power, least brake fade and much less brake dust on my chrome and aluminum wheels. The last set of Hawk LTS brake pads on my 2004 Ford F-150 lasted 107k miles. This vehicle also has cyrogenic slotted rotors. I often pull a 3,000# trailer with no brakes with this vehicle and still got over 100k miles on the Hawk brake pads. Even, smooth wear on the rotors with no warping. Well worth the additional cost over OEM and cheaper pads.

With the combination of new slotted rotors and front wheel bearing hub assembly, and the Hawk brake pads, it rides like a new truck. Braking is phenomenal, the performance is incredible.

This is my first experience with Hawk pads. Very impressed so far. Product was packaged well and came with a good amount of high temp grease. Initial impressions after bedding the pads is that they are smooth and quiet. Not too grabby, but good bite when getting on the brakes. Not enough miles of use to comment on wear or dusting.

Best Brakes I've ever had!

I installed these brakes 4 weeks ago on my '06 F150, just before I drove from VA to Ohio. I hauled a 9,000lb. load back to VA thru the WVA mountains and had no problems braking. They stop a lot better than the stock ones. They are 10x better and cleaner than stock. I recently hauled a 18,000lb load(yes i know, crazy for a F150, but she pulled it and stopped no problems)around town the other day and here it is 4 weeks after installation. I have little to no dust. If I had the stock ones on my chrome wheels would be black by now. These are by far the best brakes I've ever used.

I installed the Hawk LTS brake pads on my 2004 F-150 XLT along with new Baer dics. The bedding for the new system was easy to accomplish and the brakes are better now then when my F-150 was new. Since I have completed a few other AutoAnything vehicle modifications (4.6L, V-8 with stock 263HP up to 321HP shown on Dyno last month) I needed the best brakes I could get...the Hawk LTS pads are the BEST pads I have ever used. Great Product - Highly Recommended!
