Okay, so maybe these break pads cost more than a few extra pennies, but from my experience thus far the quality is much higher than any pads I'm used to buying from Autozone. That being said I have a performance engine Firebird, and with a car that has so much power you need something that can match against its force to stop you quickly and easily to prevent losing control. Driving my car with these new pads it is easy to tell the difference that my car is much more responsive to breaking efficiently and with piece of mind. The added bonus of no squeaking noises and due to the high grade ceramic material undoubtedly will last me twice as long than the normal cheap stuff I buy. The price tag is higher but in the end I think it is a better value and an investment in my safety.

I was pleased with the quality and exact fit of the hawk brake pads. I put them on my sons 96 Camaro and it took less time than anticipated and seems to have increased the vehicles stopping ability.
