Hawk Performance Ceramic Brake Pads Part #HB525Z.540 Customer Reviews

Installed with a new set of d/s rotors from R1 Concepts; thus far a great combo... Bed-in procedure was quick and easy, and the performance thus far is AS GOOD if not BETTER than the ceramic pads being replaced. No complaints whatsoever, and a great $ deal from AutoAnything.

The stock brakes on my Cobalt SS were reasonably quiet, but didn't have the grip I was looking for. The stop-and-go traffic I deal with around the DC Metro area causes a good amount of brake wear on OEM pads. In this case, Hawk Ceramic Pads are an excellent upgrade. The brake dust generation is lower. There is a mild increase in brake noise, which is to be expected from a performance brake pad. I highly suggest upgrading the brake pads and the rotors at the same time.
