Hawk Performance Ceramic Brake Pads Part #HB304Z.598 Customer Reviews

I use Hawk brake pads on my Chevy Blazer for US mail delivery. Other brands lasted only 90 days. Hawk pads are lasting 210 days and longer. Over twice the distance. I stop at 640 mail boxes every day. These pads save me a small fortune.

I installed new PowerSlot rotors on all 4 corners along with the Hawk Performance, Ceramic brake pads. I followed the bed-in procedure very carefully and they stop OK but I don't notice they outperform the stock pads that much. The BIG dissapointment is how nasty they are. They put off black-orange dust all over the the front wheels. I'm embarrased between washings how tacky the truck looks. I've only had them on for about 7000 miles and I'm getting rid of them. I've replacing them with a different manufacturer's ceramic pads that are specifically "low dust". Bottom line, If you don't mind a lot of brake pad dust on your front wheels, they're OK..
