I selected the Hawk Performancce Ceramics when it was time for a brake pad/rotor replacementafter comparing reviews from various brake brand/pad types. I was looking for a low dust alternative to stockThe folks at Autoanything were very knowledgeable and courteous. I had my brake pads and rotors professionally installed, and have been very pleased so far. I have only placed about 400 miles on the new setup, but my mechanic advises they were easy to install and I was able to use the existing wear indicators with no issue. Stopping power appears to be similar to stock, and there have been no squeals at all. My rims now stay much cleaner and dust is very minimal.

Pros: No brake dust No noise Conns: Takes longer to make a complete stop Very expensive for brake pads that are not very responsive I took my chances on purchasing these brake pads over EBC red stuff because the hawk ceramic brake pads have a lifetime warranty. Sadly, they did't fully meet my expectations. I do not recommend these brake pads. My old brake pads released a lot of brake dust that after washing my car, by the 3rd day my rims were already black. Although, they did brake better.
