Nice pads/rotors, so far

They look nice. I put the sport rotor and yellow pads on my yukon 4wd for fun. The existing brakes worked fine, but I wanted to mix things up a little. Not hard to install (no clips though). The first 2 miles.... grinding, crunching, squealing, but then the black finish was suddenly gone and they sounded smooth. You can hear the windy-sound of them. They work as good as the originals, but I have not tested them (the instructions call for a 1000 mile break-in period. What's that all about?)

Great quality, perfect fitment, easy install! Wish they were less expensive, but very happy with purchase. Already can feel the stronger stopping power without the full break-in.

Went on great and have been working squeal free for a few months now. I highly recommend them.

"Wind Noise"

I was suprised at the amount of noise generated when the brakes are applied. There is a definite hissing sound while stopping and also a little noise while moving without the brakes applied. Firm pedal pressure generates a moaning sound. They do work VERY well. Not for somebody who wants a quiet stop or a totally silent driving experience. This should be mentioned clearly in the product description.

A great alternative to the major caliper upgrade.

These rotors have been installed all around, using the "Green Stuff" pads. Only after demanding performance in the long run can an evaluation be truely accurate, however at this early stage (and after the recommended "Break-In") braking is great (as expected). One small faux-pas was the mis-location of the rotor-to-hub securing screw hole. They did not align. This is primarily a convenience during installation (and a nice and expected feature), but once the wheels are secured, the rotors remain firmly in place.
