The brake-in coating leaves some wear patterns that initially appear to be deterioration of the new Ultimax rotor. Fortunately it's merely superficial. They do not require much bedding and are pretty much ready for service right out of the box.

I purchased the EBC red stuff brake pads for the first time and I highly recommend these brake as the best pads I have ever used on my car. Greater stopping power and no dust. I say they are excellent. I will continue using them in all my vehicles. Thank You for a great product.

I've had the pads on my BMW for about 400 miles now. Stopping power seems to be very good when cold and even better when hot. The break-in coating on the pads is interesting and seems to help "bed" the pads with the new rotors. Only problem I've had is with squealing. I've coated the back of the pads and re-coated them after a few hundred miles plus lubed the rubbing points. I think I'm pretty well through the noise issues and am now enjoying very good braking that I expected from these pads.

I have had these brakes on my BMW 650I. For 2weeks now. I must say they are loud. I hate the squeaking. I have to deal with this for 500 miles city driving...Thats bad seeing i only drive this car on Sundays....smh Front & Rear. We will see how good they STOP.

Absolutely great quality. I really like that they put a break in compund on the pads. These pads bedded in very quickly. They have excellent pedal feel, with no noise. I will definitely use them on other applications.
