EBC Yellow Stuff Brake Pads Part #DP4885/2R Customer Reviews
Reviewed by TIM L (Aurora, IL) Reviewed for a 2006 Lotus Exige — May 08, 2012 7:44 PM
They made quite a bit of noise for the first 300 miles, but afterwards they were quiet. I have them installed on a Lotus Exige. They stop as good as the stock pads, but they feel wooden. They don't fade, but they do smoke a bit after repeating hard stops. They make more dust than stock, but not much more.

I replaced the worn original pads on my Lotus Elise and after a quick break in I found a high initial bite with good solid braking. After a few weeks of mild road use, I was out on the track and found myself very disappointed (and nearly going off-track) during my first session. From there on out however, I had solid consistent braking. My advice is to be kind to the brakes your first few laps on the track with them, but then feel free to punish them next time out. I will be very inclined to try something else next time, but I am satisfied with my purchase.
