Drama free pads that can handle a ton of heat but work below freezing too. Slightly squeaky when hot but I only have 600 miles or fewer on them, so I expect that to continue to diminish. Embarrassingly noisy before bed-in procedure. Stopping power is great, and extremely linear! How linear and predictable it is is honestly a very pleasant surprise because they're not "grabby" at all, but stop me even faster than my Redstuff pads did.

Grips very very well right off the bat. But my wheels are very dirty after just a week of normal usage, very very dusty. It's not noisy at all, so that's good. But I'm not sure if it's an installation issue or fitment issue, but every time I brake, there's a noise, like the pad is loose and it's hitting against something, but it doesn't seem affect the braking. We will have it checked again later.

For 2006 GS430, Hawks pads were not available. Toyota is known to me as a reliable car maker, but they make floating cars with not-so-quick braking system. I decided to try EBC and found the EBC was as good as the Hawks (Hawks makes several grades of stopping power, I mean the highest power). It is very important you need to have brand new rotors or used rotors with no runout and no grooves. Otherwise, there are less stopping power and squealing noise. Don't blame EBC, it's rotors causing noise.

I wanted brake pads that gave stopping power and that is what I got. Yellow stuff stops me when I want and where I want. Brake dust is noticably missing compared to OEM pads. Minor squeal occured ocassionally during the first three days but is now gone never to be heard again. I am happy and will be looking for Yellow Stuff again when it is time.
