I am not a car guy, but the economy has pushed me to learn and perform some general automobile maintenance and upkeep. I studied and learned from several sources about how to properly complete a disk and pad brake job. Initially, I purchased and installed mid level semi metallic pads from a local retail auto parts chain store. Immediately I was not happy with the pads, they squealed and produced too much dust. I checked with trusted sources to make sure I did all the necessary steps prior to and during installation. Everyone told me I completed the install properly and that sometimes, certain brands of pads may squeal at low peddle pressure. I was accepting of this outcome and decided to search further for a solution. A friend informed me of Posi Quiet ceramic pads and the AutoAnything site. I am completely satisfied with everything, the website, education blurbs and reviews on the website, the prices, the discounts, the customer support/ sales reps, the free shipping and timely delivery. But most importantly, I am extremely satisfied with the Posi Quiet brake pads. They are totally silent, extremely low dust and they "bite" the rotors well and give me and my family a much more confident and secure feeling that our braking system will perform well when needed. I have enjoyed the experience and product so much, that I just ordered another set of Posi Quiet ceramics for our 2nd vehicle.

The pads have a nice finish to them. No rough edges. They fit in the caliper very well without needing be forced or "popped" into place. The shim on the back is of good quality; a separate piece and not a piece of rubber glued on the back. I added a bit of adhesive on the back of the shim just for extra protection against noise or squeaking. I've had no noise from the pads since installing.

I am pleased with the Posi Quiet Brake Pads. I have over 1,000 miles on them. They are on slotted & drilled rotors and the performance is very nice. In the past the SUV would go into ABS braking mode pretty easy. I think that ABS caused a head on collision for my wife do to the stopping delay it causes. It will never happen again because after break in I tried very hard to get the ABS mode to activate. ABS still works well but it only activates when it should before it would come on with every hard stop. I installed rotors & pads with ease in about 3 hours in no rush. There was little noise at first but 30 miles of driving and all was quiet.

Having owned at least 15 cars, these pads fit perfect. No sloop to rattle. Braking power is at least double now, with NO noise. Now this is my wife driver, she even can tell the difference, WOW!!!
