The O.E.M. brakes on the 04 Mazda 3 S are excellent to begin with. While these did not increase braking power or reduce stopping distance, they are a great value. I needed to replace my rotors this time around and the O.E.M. replacements rotors with pads were twice the money. These stop just as well and look fantastic at the same time.

I purchased the Power Stop 4 wheel kit for my 2008 Mazda 3S and recieved the parts within 4 days. All four rotors were marked for each wheel and fit pefectly. The ceramic pads were a plus in the kit. The break in procedure is critical but if you follow the detailed instructions you will not have any problems. Car breaks better than new and is very quiet. For the money this is the best kit on the market and I would recommend buying it. I will continue to purchase parts from AutoAnything based on this experience.

Everything arrived within a couple of days of placing my order and bolted right on without any issues. The rotors were all labeled as rear rotors but a simple visual inspection was all it took to see which parts needed to go to the front on the car. The first few times you use the brakes they will be loud but if you follow the brake in procedure properly the noise will go away within a few stops.

After a dizzying consideration of many options for rotors and pads,I appreciated the recommendation of an Auto Anything staffer that I buy the Power Stop kit. My 29 yo son did almost all of the work - his first brake job - because it is his car. He found the parts, though they are from China, to fit well. He followed the break-in recommendation included with the kit and the brakes seem to work fine and they look good. It helped that he wire-brushed the existing calipers and painted them black before reinstalling them. The instructions that came with the kit were very basic, assuming that the installer knows how to do such things as bleeding the brake fluid. This kit appears to be a good value. He has fewer than 100 miles on the brakes. The brakes are smooth, quiet and pulse-free.
