Factory brakes are not typically up to the task of even rated use, let alone anything beyond. The brakes on my Navigator had become heat checked and put a right nasty shimmy in the steering under any significant pedal pressure. This kit solved that and has been working flawlessly since. Been 2 weeks and the brakes have impressed me time and again. The rotors are coated with zinc and should stay shiny for quite a while. Yes, there are better brake options out there, but not for the money!!

I installed Power Stop Brake Kit on my car (front and rear) about a year ago, and I think they are outstanding. I resently put the Power Stop Truck & Tow Brake Kit on my truck (front) and they are outstanding as well. I will be installing the rear shortly. This is a great product. A real plus is that they are sold as a kit (rotor and pad package) at a great price.
