I live in the mountains and tow only my boat with this truck. The stock brakes failed within the first couple of months driving it here. After installing the Power Stop brakes i have not had a problem yet and really like the way they perform. I have not towed with them yet so I will have to wait and see.

We purchased these brakes for a heavy vehicle that dies lots of mountain driving. They have excellent stopping power and were easy to install. I would recommend these brakes. I have them on two different vehicles. They are my go to brakes for my next two as well.

I replaced the factory brakes and I do a lot of towing so I researched different brakes and settled on the Power Stop truck and tow. I put them on without any problems and I have driven them for @ a month. I really didn't notice any significant difference with normal driving around town. Then one day I had to really get on the brakes and WOW I can really tell a difference. These brakes will really stop this truck!!!! They make a huge difference when pulling my boat too. I'd buy again!

Added Truck and Tow front brake kit to my 2wheel drive Tahoe and it feels a lot better. Upgraded from oem 20" wheel to 22" wheel. The initial bite when braking is much better and stops better on a whole. Reason I didn't rate 5 stars is none of holes for the screw to hold the rotor on line up on the hub. Blatant screw up in quality.

Shipping: I ordered on a Wednesday afternoon, they were on my front porch Friday morning. Installation: Very easy if you have even the slightest experience working on brakes (on your specific vehicle) Construction quality: The rotors look a little dinky and are adorned with a beautiful "made in china" sticker that I promptly removed. The included pads look like something that goes on a military vehicle. Operation: Here is where I am torn. The brakes stop on a dime, whether the bed of my 1/2 ton GMC is empty, or loaded with firewood while towing a 12' flatbed with ~75 cinder blocks. The only problem is the noise. If you can stand the squeal (I haven't tried any brake cleaner/dust remover yet) then you will love these brakes. Overall: Spend a little more money and buy the rotors separately and go with some name brand pads, I'm personally a fan of green-stuff, which will be replacing the pads that came with this set next weekend.
