Let's face it! OEM Ford brakes are not the most durable. I was very surprised when the indicators started squeaking at 26k miles. I do a fair amount of around 5500lbs towing and ussally long distances with fair amount of steep grades. After receiving tons of opinions and conflicting professional advice I decided to go the Powerstop Z36 Route. The install was simple as advertised and peformance will not disappoint. Has been a great option for my situation.

AS A PURSUIT MASTER DRIVING INSTRUCTOR AS A POLICE OFFICER FOR 38 YEARS AND TESTING NUMEROUS BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS FOR SEVERE DUTY THIS KIT IS ONE OF THE BEST IVE EVALUATED. IT IS IMPERATIVE TO BURNISH,BED THE SYSTEM AS INDICATED IN THE DIRECTIONS. I WOULD ESTIMATE THAT 9 OUT OF 10 DRIVERS TO INCLUDE TECHNICIANS ARE NOT PERFORMING THIS PROCEDURE WHEN INSTALLING PADS AND ROTORS. RETIRED CHIEF OF POLICE

I have notice an issue with these brakes. I was coming down a steep hill that was approx. 4 miles long when i noticed how hard I had to push on the brake pedal to get the vehicle to slow down it seemed like it was 3 times harder to stop then on flat land.

It's been 2 weeks since I've broken in my pads/rotors and I love the way they look but didn't notice a significant difference in the way my truck stops.

Finally able to review brakes after truck spent 3 weeks at dealer for new ecoboost engine replacement. 600 mile trip to myrtle beach. Brakes worked flawlessly sand stayed cool. Nice to have front brakes and rotors that aren't warped.

Kit came complete with everything needed, simple and easy to install. Looks great! Be sure to Do the break in of pads per instructions. Kit works as advertised. Awesome buy. FYI ceramic pads are messy, count on brake dust, just something to consider.

Free shipping got it here quick. All small parts were in sealed bags. Installation went well as all parts were correct and present. After install the look is great if your rims allow. After pad break in, stopping at normal city speeds was smoother than stock with less pedal pressure for gradual stops. Aggressive stops are smoother and more sure with no pulsating experienced by stock. Haven't pulled heavy load just yet but am 100% confidant it will be better there too. I'm pleased. You will be.
