StopTech Stainless Steel Brake Line Kit Reviews

Stainless Steel Brake Line for my 1999 F-150

Reviewed By John R (Cookeville, TN) Reviewed for a 1999 Ford F-150 —12/5/2014 5:38 AM

I just installed my stainless steel brake lines last Saturday, WOW! I wish I would have done this when I bought the truck in 2009. The feel of the much more firm brake pedal is great. I only have to use toe pressure to stop. I am breaking in the new ceramic front pads so, I haven't really made the ABS kick in yet. I can't wait for that. I replaced the lines during a resurfacing of the rotors/front wheel bearing repack/brake pad replacement. It was extremely easy to make the switch. The parts were high quality and went on with ease. No Chinese knock-off junk here! Get lines for your vehicle. You will not be sorry you did. Your only remorse is that you didn't do it sooner! What are you waiting for? Get busy and buy a set...now!

StopTech Slotted Big Brake Kit Reviews

Much better than stock equipment

Reviewed By Johnnie C (LAKELAND, FL) Reviewed for a 2008 Chevy Corvette —5/1/2014 5:35 AM

The stock rotors and calipers (with race pads equipped) were not providing enough stopping power for the Corvette Z06 on the Sebring raceway. The StopTech kit comes with street pads, so I ordered StopTech's SR32 race pads to use although the pad shape is a common one available from many different vendors. Regarding slotted vs. drilled rotors: The StopTech engineer said that drilled is for show; slotted is for the track. It's like I am driving a different car! Very happy!
