Used ceramic AC Delco pads in the past and found them to be noisy (lightweight grinding noise) when applying the brakes. They lasted 1-1/2 years. That does not seem to be long enough. I just switched to the Hawk pads and guess what - no more grinding noise. Do not think I installed the previous AC Delco's incorrectly. It's hard to foul up pad installation. Would recommend Hawk. Car stops well. Only disadvantage to the Hawk is no wear gauge feelers. The AC Delco feelers saved my rotors.

Bought these rotors as my old one got bend and my brakes were pulsating like a crazy. To be honest, the only reason I've ordered these ones - I was looking for a rotors with directional vanes to get the best cooling for my brakes. The thing is the the picture here does not reflect the reality - in fact I've got radial "straight" vanes rotors... Was kind of disappointed and tried to see what are the ads says directional vanes specifically. It turned out that the only drilled rotors have direct. v
