Power Stop Z23 Brake Kit Reviews

power stop brake kit 2010 CTS

Reviewed By Zury S (Chatsworth, CA) Reviewed for a 2010 Cadillac CTS —7/2/2014 8:34 AM

Kit fit well and went on without any problems. Rotors and pad appear to be well engineered and constructed of quality materials. There was some noise during intial test drive, but dissappeared after a few stops. Have driven about 250 mix highway and street and brakes work and feel good, equal or better than OEM.

Great for normal street driving

Reviewed By Joong C (Walled Lake, MI) Reviewed for a 2010 Cadillac CTS —6/2/2012 11:29 AM

I usually use EBC Yellostuff for track day use. (rear only for my vette) My DD (CTS4 Wagon) needed a replacement pad for rear, and I thought I would give Redstuff a try. I'm happy, as usual, with EBC quality. Comparing to OE pads, it has better bite, and dusts less. (since it's on rear only, I can't really tell the huge difference on stopping but when I push the car a bit, and brake, I can feel that the rear is biting better than before) I gave apprearance "average" because I already know the color coating (in this case, red) will bubble up once it gets hot. However, these are brake pads - something that you don't get to see much anyway. I would recommend this pad, if you are not planning to race your car. If you are running track days, try Yellowstuffs.

EBC Yellow Stuff Brake Pads Reviews

Very good pad overall

Reviewed By Joong C (Walled Lake, MI) Reviewed for a 2010 Cadillac CTS —10/16/2011 3:12 PM

If you are looking for a set of pad that will give you the best stopping power on the race track, then you should look at track only pads, but if the duty for the pad you need is occasional weekend track days and want to come home safe from track without changing out the pad at the track, this is one of the best track pad out there. Hawk hp plus stops better but this lasts longer and dusts less. I use this one on the CTS and Hawk HP plus or DTC series on my vette. (rear of the vette I use yellowstuff, and I don't change them.) Overall, track worthy performance at a fraction of cost of race pads. I like these!
