pad look fine but missing parts

Reviewed By CH W (DOUGLASVILLE, GA) Reviewed for a 2000 Chevy Blazer —11/14/2011 11:29 AM

I received my new pads really quickly. I was behind in other tasks so I had to wait for a couple of weeks to do the brake job. I was missing the clips on the rear set. Had to reuse the old ones. Front ones were painted metal and the OE was stainless steel. Also I ask about the anti squeal grease and was told it was included in this brand of brakes. Was not included in either box. Not a big deal but had to delay the start of the job to go to the parts store to get some. Not happy about that. I would have ordered it from you if I knew it was not included. Will respond again after I have about 500 miles on the pads and can tell if they are doing the job quietly. Took about three hours total to include clean up and putting away tools and test driving.

These pads are a great upgrade from the stock replacement pads I had.

I am happy

Reviewed By James M (Wartburg, TN) Reviewed for a 1985 Chevy Blazer —9/18/2007 2:23 PM

My 1985 full size blazer is very heavy. We use it for a service truck; Tools - 100 gal Diesel storage tank inside - etc. These brake pads stop all that weight very well and do it quietly. Only thing is they are missing the little clip deal that hold the inside pad to the caliper piston this make installation a little more difficult.
