Skyjacker Braided Stainless Steel Brake Lines Reviews

Excellent Break Lines

Reviewed By Jim F (Loreauville, LA) Reviewed for a 1983 Chevy C/K Pickup —3/6/2012 6:12 AM

If anyone is looking for Extended Breaks Lines for late model Chevy pickups and Blazers these Skyjackers is a great choice. The kit is equipped with all the needed parts for an easy installation and the appearance is great. With its Stainless Steel construction and Teflon Coated liner over the breaded hose make this line very durable in harsh muddy situations for 4x4 vehicles. I was extremely impressed on the delivery time of this product. This break lines are a great value for anyone looking for extended break lines.

Worth it...

Reviewed By David M (Hackettstown, NJ) Reviewed for a 1965 Chevy C/K Pickup —4/26/2010 6:24 AM

The kit is complete. There were a few issues installing on my 65 Chevy C10. I had to remove the inner hub rings to get the them to clear the spindle. I also had to switch the hub grease seals to ones from a 71 Chevy as the original stuck out too far. I had to grind the caliper edges to get my aftermarket rims to clear. All in all worth the purchase and everything else went ok it just took longer working out the few kinks listed. Otherwise the kit works well and the braking is so much better.

Great breaks but make noise

Reviewed By Nicholas C (Palmerton, PA) Reviewed for a 2014 Chevy Sonic —1/12/2015 8:10 AM

SO the brakes work great car stops on a dime but they keep squeaking. I emailed EBC they said give it 1000 + miles to stop. Im at 3500 now and still having the problem. I emailed EBC again and with no problems they shipped a brand new set and didn't ask for old ones. I have not put them on yet, im going to wait till i can afford the EBC sport rotors. The ones on car are stock but only had 5000 miles on the. (Car is brand new)
