Centric C-TEK Drilled & Slotted Sport Brake Kit Reviews

Dtive like Steve McQueen look like prom queen

Reviewed By Steven V (COCONUT CREEK, FL) Reviewed for a 2005 Chevy Corvette —3/4/2016 6:36 PM

I was skeptical about these rotors and pads, I did my homework and found out that most near pads and rotors don't require drilled fact they aren't recommended for racing or track use. But I had to try them out; took a few hours to get all 4 rotors and pads swapped out, but pretty easy for a shade tree mechanic. Like the title says, driving my C6 like I stole it with thCentric C-TEK Drilled & Slotted Sport Brake Kit and couldn't be happier. Highly better deal anywhere

Hawk Performance Ceramic Brake Pads Reviews

2005 C6-Z51 Corvette

Reviewed By Jim O (VALLEY CITY, OH) Reviewed for a 2005 Chevy Corvette —4/28/2013 11:02 AM

The C6 with the Z51 package includes drilled and slotted rotors that are notorious for brake squeal and excessive dust. This is very annoying in a convertible. The Hawk Ceramic pads eliminated the annoying break squeal. I also put new Chrome wheels on the Vette and the brake dust experienced with the stock pads has been greatly reduced with the Hawk pads. Stopping power is noticeably improved. Highly recommend these for aggressive street driving.

EBC Red Stuff Brake Pads Reviews

C6 Corvette Rear Brakes

Reviewed By Jeffry S (Chandler, AZ) Reviewed for a 2005 Chevy Corvette —5/23/2012 9:16 AM

The red stuff brakes installed without any problem. I liked the peel and stick anti-squeel pads - much more user friendly than that sticky stuff you smear on the brake pad backs. They seem to be seating in well, no squeeks and I will go easy on them for the first 100 miles or so.
