"I like these pads. This is my first experience with ceramic pads and I am very impressed. While the stock pads are certainly no slouch (Pagid pads made for Brembo) I perfer the characteristics of the Hawk ceramic much better. The stock pad had an increadibly high initial bite and a very severe release. They were difficult to modulate and often felt as if they were either "on or off". The Hawk's have a gentler initial bite but come on hard and fast. They are easy to modulate and can be take to threshold braking even before the ABS kicks in. Given the fact that this is daily driver, the lack of brake dust is HUGELY appealing and the excellent performance is good bonus. My only gripe is that the picture in the site shows the sensor cable leading you to believe that the sensors are included. I found out they weren't as I got into the install and it will be a pain in the ass to replace after the fact." —Doug W from Elmsford, NY bought a Hawk Performance Ceramic Brake Pads for a 2002 Chevy Corvette.
"Well so far the brake pads are doing fine. I have driven 300 miles a mix of hwy. and in town, the rims are still looking good (no brake dust). The braking proformance feels good as well." —Todd B from Orange, TX bought a Hawk Performance Ceramic Brake Pads for a 2002 Chevy Corvette.
