The stock rotors and calipers (with race pads equipped) were not providing enough stopping power for the Corvette Z06 on the Sebring raceway. The StopTech kit comes with street pads, so I ordered StopTech's SR32 race pads to use although the pad shape is a common one available from many different vendors. Regarding slotted vs. drilled rotors: The StopTech engineer said that drilled is for show; slotted is for the track. It's like I am driving a different car! Very happy!

2001 Expedition 4x4. Install was simple. Pull off old lines, put these on. Basically bolt in though the mounting bracket is a bit different from stock as is the banjo bolt. Not hard for the mechanically inclined. No fabrication necessary. Only real difference is whereas the original line has clips molded into it to accommodate the ABS wires to the front hubs, these do not, but they supply high quality zip ties that handle the job just fine.
