Good Brake Pads

Reviewed By Robert B (CANONSBURG, PA) Reviewed for a 2007 Chrysler Aspen —3/1/2013 7:26 AM

I put these brake pads on the front and rear of a 2007 Chrysler Aspen and so far they perform well. Only have about 500 miles on them so I don't know how long they will last, but pads are completely squeak free and have decreased stopping distance. They also feel very solid when breaking, even when its wet outside. One thing I really like is that Hawk gives you grease, and has several UTube videos on installation and break in, critical information that most manufacturers fail to provide.

Hawk always by Ty

Reviewed By Tyrone M (Ladson, SC) Reviewed for a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis —10/9/2017 8:58 PM

This is the second set of hawks I've put on my car. They bring my heavy grand marquis to a stop quickly. Very low brake dust and good price. I have slotted rotors and these pads are a great fit. I'll keep buying these pads, I didn't even need to change my rotors, maybe by the time these pads wear out I'll need a set of rotors if not then I'll just change the pads again. I have no complaints.

So Far So Good, time will tell

Reviewed By Shan S (Pittsburgh, PA) Reviewed for a 2013 Subaru Forester —9/15/2017 6:31 AM

I decided to put up a little more money and get a better pair of rotors and pads. So Far so good, construction and quality are great. I live in Pittsburgh and the winters are very harsh on rotors with all the salt they put on the roads. I've found myself replacing rotors every 25-30k miles. Hills and traffic warrant the need to keep the rotors cool to prevent warping and brake fade. Time will tell how these hold up but so far so good for the price.
