Posi Quiet Extended Wear Brake Pads Reviews

Good pads, quiet

Reviewed By Mario V (Niagara Falls, NY) Reviewed for a 2004 Chrysler Sebring —6/24/2013 9:14 AM

I've only used these pads for around 200km so far, but they seem very good to me. They are virtually silent, except for one brief moment just before the car comes to a complete stop, when you can hear some "grip" sound. Nothing that's really loud or annoying. I use these pads with Centric rotors, also purchased on autoanything. Before these pads, I used Hawk HPS pads, and they were very loud, more expensive and I see no real advantage to them compared to Posi.

EBC Ultimax Slotted Rotors Reviews

Ultimax Review

Reviewed By David S (Mentor, OH) Reviewed for a 2004 Chrysler Sebring —7/13/2008 7:01 AM

The rotors are well made and fit perfectly on the wheel hub. Installation was simple the only complaint I have is the replacement pads that we bought with the rotors didn't have an install kit which is needed and had to be bought at the local NAPA parts store. Chrysler uses some cheap springs to hold the pads in place that need to be replaced when the pads are changed. The rotors after a short breakin period are absolutly quiet and true. There is no noise or other effects generated by the slots in the rotors, which I was a little concerned about when we bought them. I plan to replace the rear rotors when necessary with a set of these as well. Stopping power is also better than the factory OEM equipment. The warranty period is a little short at six months or 5,000 miles , but hopefully I don't think we will be needing the warranty .
