First Brake Job

Reviewed By Robert H (Richmond, VA) Reviewed for a 2003 Chrysler Town and Country —7/15/2008 3:58 PM

I installed these on my wife's mini-van. I'm not a mechanic -- but now that I know how easy it is to change pads I'll never pay a mechanic again to do a brake job. I also changed out the rotors with some Brembo's.

Finally, Good Brakes!

Reviewed By Timothy S (Morton, IL) Reviewed for a 2007 Chrysler Town and Country —8/7/2010 4:06 AM

I know mini-vans aren't equipped with the greatest factory brakes, but when pulling the waverunner trailer ... I found them sorely lacking in stopping power. I installed a pair of the Hawks in the front (only) and immediately noticed a significant improvement in stopping power and in the "feel" of the brake pedal. I'm ordering the rear pads (as soon as I get the $10 coupon for writing this review!). Application: 2007 Chrysler Town & Country (pulling double-wide waverunner trailer).

Hard To Tell

Reviewed By Caleb K (Monterey Park, CA) Reviewed for a 2002 Chrysler Town and Country —7/10/2009 9:50 AM

My mechanic told me the break pads I bought was too thick that he had to re-surface my rotors to fit the pads. I don't sense the dramatic improvement on the breaking yet so it is hard to tell if this product is good or bad.
