Hawk HPS Brake Pads Reviews

Finally, Good Brakes!

Reviewed By Timothy S (Morton, IL) Reviewed for a 2007 Chrysler Town and Country —8/7/2010 4:06 AM

I know mini-vans aren't equipped with the greatest factory brakes, but when pulling the waverunner trailer ... I found them sorely lacking in stopping power. I installed a pair of the Hawks in the front (only) and immediately noticed a significant improvement in stopping power and in the "feel" of the brake pedal. I'm ordering the rear pads (as soon as I get the $10 coupon for writing this review!). Application: 2007 Chrysler Town & Country (pulling double-wide waverunner trailer).

A perfect solution

Reviewed By Christopher M (Stamford, CT) Reviewed for a 2005 Nissan Titan —6/26/2015 5:19 AM

I bought a complete set, front and rear. They arrived well packaged. The pads are wrapped and secured inside the box to reduce the odds of shipping damage to near zero. Also come with high-temp grease. Most other suppliers leave this out and you have to buy separately. Fit is perfect, function is great. Better stopping power and less annoying wheel dust. Overall an excellent pad for a working half-ton truck.

I received the products quickly, which was nice, but upon opening the packages, the rotors were labeled incorrectly, all were labeled rear driver/ passenger, this could be extremely confusing for someone who isn't knowledgeable about rotors. Also, the passenger side rear rotor had a chip in the metal on the backside, and some remaining metal was left from where I assume it was forged, I had to grind that off. When installing the brake pads on the front passenger's side wheel, I had to sand them
