Daily Driver/track days

Reviewed By Kevin H (FAIRFAX, VA) Reviewed for a 2011 Dodge Challenger —7/31/2013 6:20 AM

Pads are great perfect for that combo of daily driver with the occasional track day. Only negative is that they are noisey/produce a fair amount of dust.

Hawk Ceramic Brake Pads

Reviewed By Bill S (Calistoga, CA) Reviewed for a 2011 Dodge Challenger —12/21/2011 10:17 PM

I purchased Hawk's Ceramic Brake pads to replace the stock Brembo pads I had on my 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8. I wanted a pad that would not generate so much brake dust and I think I found it. The Hawk pads seem to perform very similar to the Brembo pads in normal street driving. They are smooth, silent, clean and you can hardly tell they are different from the Brembo's I haven't tried them at the track but they seem to be very capable on the street. They also cost about 1/3 of a Brembo pad. I am sure the Brembo pad is very good but so far, I like the Hawk's better. The Hawk Ceramic pad seems to do everything the Brembo pad can do without the brake dust. So far, I haven't found anything bad.

First time diy on my 4Runner

Reviewed By adam s (FOLSOM, CA) Reviewed for a 2005 Toyota 4Runner —1/17/2015 1:26 AM

After researching for days on brake pads, the forums seemed to positively review the Hawk brand, and they were well reviewed by friends who have them on their Tundra and STI. I broke them in properly, but it still seemed to take a few days of normal driving before they didn't feel weak right out of the garage. Now that they've been on for a couple of weeks, they're showing significant stopping power over the OEM pads. This will give me the braking confidence I need for my offroad trips this year
