Hawk Performance Ceramic Brake Pads Reviews

Great Brakes, Good Price, Well Packaged

Reviewed By Marc C (PHOENIX, AZ) Reviewed for a 2008 Dodge Charger —10/29/2015 9:53 AM

Needing new brakes for my '08 Charger RT I wanted something with at least the same stopping power as the stock pads. These are the ticket. A little softer than the stock pads, but no noise like the stockers. There is a thick anti squeak pad and they fit tightly in the anti rattle springs. Nicely packaged as well for shipping so no chips like other pads I have ordered. I think you will like these as much as I do.

Great Product, but Make Sure it's all There.

Ordered the four-wheel kit and it looks to be a good quality product. With 200 miles on them they perform well. Do check the boxes well before install. It's supposed to come with grease, clips and caliper pin boots, but I received no grease and only half the clips and boots. Had to reuse some OE parts despite their own recommendation against that, and buy grease which is oddly pricey. Minus a star for missing pieces.

Oh stop...

Reviewed By Andrew H (Elkhorn, NE) Reviewed for a 2008 Dodge Charger —7/30/2014 6:37 AM

Stopping a modified car with 400+ horsepower with a lifetime warranty pad and original rotors wasn't cutting it. I paired these pads with a set of Centric premium solid rotors and StopTech braided lines and can just about throw myself through the windshield on heavy breaking. The pads squeeked for the first 200 miles but that stopped after the bedding process (five 60mph to 10mph hard stops in a row). If your looking for a street pad with lots of grip, GO FOR IT!!
