Better brakes than stock, 2006 Sienna AWD

Reviewed By Christopher C (Sterling, VA) Reviewed for a 2006 Toyota Sienna —7/1/2010 5:55 AM

62K miles on Sienna in 4 years, the pads were in need of replacement. The heavy mnivan was always hard to stop. Replaced front with EBC Green Stuff and rear with OEM brand from NAPA. Granted EBC cost 4 times more than OEM, I was a bit hesitent, but I paid the price and tried my first pair of EBC's. Installation went smoothly as most disc pad replacements do. The inner and outer pads were interchangeable, i.e. same part for both. After 100 miles the break in material wore off. WOW! Brakes work better than stock. The minivan brakes like a sedan. Toyota could have satisfied more customers by installing EBC Green Stuff as their stock brake pads. Hoepfully these pads last as long as stock. I will definately use these pads again. PS Noticed more brake dust than stock.

Turbo Braking!!

Reviewed By Frank A (Monument, CO) Reviewed for a 2005 Subaru Legacy —6/29/2010 12:51 PM

This is the third set of Hawk pads I've purchased for three different vehicles. The improvement in braking is very noticeable, plus you don't get all that brake dust that many other pads produce. The value for such improved braking is amazing!

Just Installed

Reviewed By Lafeyette S (South Hadley, MA) Reviewed for a 2004 Jeep Liberty —6/23/2010 8:31 PM

Just installed these pads in my Jeep liberty, 7000 series in the front and 6000 in the back. Paired these with cross drilled and slotted rotors to gain stopping power when towing my 3,000 lb fish and ski boat. Haven't towed yet but brake performance seems better, less pedal pressure by far. I wouldn't say they have been bedded quite yet. No squeals/or grinding so far.
