I have a 2010 Ford Explorer with 5200 miles on it when I changed the front pads to Hawk. They do have a better feel them the OEM brakes. So far so good.

These were put on the rear of my 2000 Explorer. I have 30000 miles on the front set that I installed two years ago. They still look new! Stopping distances are decreased significantly and there is no dust or noise. If you install these pads and top tier rotors (I installed power slot.) you will probably sell your vehicle before you have to do another brake job. They're somewhat expensive but definitely worth it in the longrun.
