Hawk Performance Ceramic Brake Pads Reviews

Go Hawks!

Reviewed By William S (Littleton, CO) Reviewed for a 2007 Ford F-150 —7/24/2015 9:35 AM

I just installed a new set of Hawk ceramic brake pads coupled with existing slotted and cross drilled Baer Acclerotors. The Hawks are replacing EBC Green pads which DID NOT perform on my F-150 with these rotors at all!!!! The Hawks give increased stopping power over the EBC's but without sticking brake dust that causes a front end shimmy like warpped rotors do. I'm going to remove the EBC Greens from the rear and replace them with Hawk Ceramics immediately.

EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads Reviews

They're All Green

Reviewed By William S (Littleton, CO) Reviewed for a 2007 Ford F-150 —4/21/2015 9:03 AM

This is the third set of Green Stuff. First time on the rears. Nice to have the same type and quality for front and rear. They do any outstanding job stopping my F-150. Used is conjunction with cross-drilled and slotted rotors it makes the F-150 stop like a Porsche. They a little quicker than I would like, but the ability to stop a pickup is far more important. They will be on this truck for life.

Power Stop Cross Drilled and Slotted Rotors Reviews

Reviewed By Gerry A (CHINO HILLS, CA) Reviewed for a 2007 Ford F-150 —1/4/2015 8:44 PM

I purchased these for my 07 Ford F150. The orig. brakes, while adequate, did not give me confidence that I could stop quickly when driving at fwy speeds(especially because here in So Cal seem to like to cut you off then brake hard because traffic in front of them comes to a grinding halt). I've tried different pad types (w/stock rotors)with no success. I figured I'd give the Power Stop drilled/slotted rotors and with stock pads, braking has improved at around 10%(maybe more)!
